When the Polish pallet manufacturer Pak-Pol decided to move from manual assembly to full automation, they needed a partner who could adapt to their specific needs. By choosing Mychrome, Pak-Pol not only tripled its efficiency but also found a way to integrate new technology into their existing factory layout.
Before investing in a Mychrome line, Pak-Pol’s production relied on semi-automatic workstations and manual assembly. While they had one CNC station, the process was labour-intensive and vulnerable to staffing challenges.
After analyzing the market, Pak-Pol chose Mychrome for a very specific reason: the ability to customize the machinery to fit their facility.
– We chose Mychrome because they were able to adapt the solution to the layout of our production hall and our existing machines, explains Piotr Mizerski from Pak-Pol.
The impact on efficiency has been remarkable. Since the line became fully operational in December, Pak-Pol has reached production levels that were previously unattainable with manual methods.
There have been days when we managed to produce over 1,500 pallets using only three operators. It’s a significant improvement in efficiency

Pak-Pol’s Mychrome line has solved two major operational headaches: the time lost during model changes and the physical strain on workers.
– Switching between pallet types at the CNC station required time-consuming jig replacements. With the Mychrome system, changeovers now take just 15 minutes, notes Mizerski.
Modern automation has not only sped up the line but also made the workday significantly more manageable for the entire crew.
– Their work is physically lighter because they mainly focus on refilling the machine magazines rather than manual assembly. Overall, they are very satisfied, Mizerski concludes.
